Toni Stanger graduated in 2015 with a BA (Hons) degree in Film and Screenwriting from Sheffield Hallam University. She was a staff writer for Screen Queens, covering both film and television with a focus on horror and female-led media, until the website closed in April 2024. Now, Toni predominantly writes on her own website, Cineberry, which launched in July 2024. She occasionally self-publishes on Medium and has an infrequent Substack newsletter about mental health.
Toni's bylines include Film Daze, WhatCulture, and JumpCut Online. She has covered horror-focused film festivals such as GrimmFest, Fright Fest, and Fantasia. Toni appears in the coffee table book "Alternative Film Posters A-Z" by Jeremy Arblaster, providing the blurbs for the films Annihilation and Hereditary, which are accompanied by alternative posters designed by talented graphics designers.
